Rainbow Staircase Natural Seawater Pool   Primary School Also Has a Snorkeling Paradise

  New Taipei City’s Gongliao District boasts some of Taiwan’s most stunning coastal scenery, including uniquely eroded rocks shaped by sea winds and magnificent coastal landscapes. Located in Ma’ao Bay, Fulian Elementary School is less than a 5-minute drive from the Cape San Diego Lighthouse. Here, facing the vast seascape, there is a natural seawater swimming pool—a paradise for swimming and snorkeling.

Fulian Elementary School is the easternmost and lowest-altitude school in all of Taiwan, giving it an island-like feel similar to Orchid Island or Green Island. With its crystal-clear waters, it has become a haven for many snorkelers, and the natural seawater pool outside the school serves as the perfect practice spot for beginners.

Beside the playground on campus stands a Rainbow Staircase, which appears vibrant and colorful against the expansive blue sky, white clouds, and ocean, making it one of the most beautiful elementary schools in Taiwan.
