At the Vibrant Coast Fishing Port Shops, you can enjoy Haikou-style meals made with local ingredients, watch fishermen return with their rafts full of oysters from the nearby oyster farms, and take in the full charm of the fishing port.

3. Enjoy the sea breeze at Wutiaogang Fishing Port Wharf
At the seaside pavilion here, you can enjoy the sea breeze and quietly listen to the call of the ocean, while watching mudskippers happily hopping in the wetlands. The blue-and-white security station building in front of the fishing port is both beautiful and eye-catching, providing a space for visitors to rest.

4. Visit the home of fiddler crabs and see installation art
Haikou Park (Taisi Haiyuan) features a precious intertidal zone and wetland ecosystem where you can see thousands of fiddler crabs, mudskippers, beach fleas, and other intertidal animals.

5. Taisi Elementary School Marine Art Museum
Originally an abandoned library, it was thoughtfully renovated by the new principal and transformed into a cultural hub for the Taisi community. It displays artworks by artists about the ocean, as well as a nine-meter-long watercolor painting titled “Taisi Coastal Scenery.”
