The most exciting anime carnival of this summer, the "18th Comic Exhibition," is being held at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1 from today until August 14. This year's exhibition has invited renowned voice actors and illustrators to meet fans in Taiwan. Voice actors for *Detective Conan* Kenichi Ogata and *Royal Tutor* Keisuke Ueda, as well as popular light novel author Kobachi X illustrator Mocha for *Deeply Sorry, Even I’m Scared When I Get Sick* will all appear at the Comic Exhibition. On August 12, the theme song singer for *Royal Tutor*, Shogo Sakamoto, will perform live on-site.

Taiwan Kadokawa has specially invited *La Loquera Blood Slaughter* creator Tsung-Ching and internet celebrity Jie Ge to collaborate with razor brands for the first time, launching three exclusive Taiwan Kadokawa events during the Comic Exhibition: the "Tsung-Ching’s Cool Times at Kadokawa" meet-and-greet, the "Jie Ge’s Comfortable Times at Kadokawa" meet-and-greet, and the "#Meet Water-Dimensionals at Taiwan Kadokawa" photo op and lucky draw, with plenty of prizes on offer.

The first light novel from *Dongjin Mengmi ‘Sui Ji’* published by Tong Li Comics made its debut at the Comic Exhibition, where illustrator Izumi also held a signing session. The Shimeng booth also featured many Sui Ji merchandise items, and visitors could receive a new 1KG rice bag packaging designed and illustrated by Izumi.

Combining model displays, the over 30-year-old store "Wan Nian Dong Hai Model Toys" is participating in the Comic Exhibition for the first time this year. In addition to selling model-related goods, the booth will also showcase unreleased new assembly models, as well as collectible Bluetooth speakers from the well-known brand CAMINO—including a mysterious new Bluetooth speaker not yet unveiled in Taiwan—giving anime fans an early sneak peek.
This year’s Comic Exhibition has specially invited artist Moriku to create the “Mascot – Manbo,” giving the event a fresh spirit and visual highlight. With the theme “Anime Summer, Endless Energy,” the diverse creativity and vibrant vitality of anime will be explored together with friends. The highly anticipated autograph sessions will feature more than 20 popular domestic and international manga artists, authors, and voice actors, holding marathon-style signings and meet-and-greets. Fans can not only see their idols up close, but those who love Japanese culture shouldn’t miss the lively variety of activities specially prepared for them in the ICHIBAN JAPAN Japan Pavilion.
