Gong Yoo, known as Korea’s most handsome uncle, saw his popularity soar thanks to the hit Korean drama "Goblin." On August 17, he made his second visit to Taiwan to appear at a press conference. After the ad was released, the star’s charm once again sparked widespread discussion. The ad shows Gong Yoo sprinting across the scene, displaying his long legs. The setting is stylish and architecturally impressive, and the night view is romantic — instantly igniting conversations among fans.

Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), a popular new check-in spot in Seoul, was designed by the renowned British architect Zaha Hadid. Built with an investment of 484 billion KRW over five years, it is the world’s largest building with non-standard architecture. It includes five main venues: the Art Hall, Cultural Center, Design Lab, Creative Market, and Dongdaemun History & Culture Park. The entire structure features a seamless, flowing linear form, with a curved exterior that resembles a massive alien spaceship, and no internal support columns.

The LED Rose Garden creates a dreamlike scene like something out of a different century. It consists of 25,550 roses, created to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Liberation. With 365 days in a year for 70 years, the total comes to 25,550 — and since Koreans have always loved roses as their favorite flower, they chose to “plant” roses in the Dongdaemun Garden. The sea of flowers shines brilliantly under the night sky, creating a truly romantic atmosphere.
