Remember how Shi-eun first summoned the Goblin, holding buckwheat flowers that symbolize “lovers”? Every September, buckwheat flowers bloom ahead of the maple leaves, kicking off the autumn season and acting like messengers heralding the arrival of fall. On a sunny day, the scene of the Goblin leisurely strolling through a field of snow-white buckwheat flowers is surely unforgettable. The vast 170,000-pyeong buckwheat flower field featured in the drama is located at the “Barley Country Crane Garden Farm” in Gochang County, North Jeolla Province. Gentle music flows through every corner of the farm. Visiting this place to admire the buckwheat flowers not only brings back romantic moments from the drama but also offers relaxation and healing for both mind and body.

Another must-visit autumn spot in Korea is the Deoksugung Stone Wall Road, where the Goblin and Shi-eun first met. Stretching about 900 meters, this road is located right across from Seoul City Hall and is formed by century-old architecture and beautiful roadside trees, making it perfect for a stroll. It’s also one of Seoul’s most popular dating spots. Especially in autumn, the ginkgo trees lining both sides of the stone wall road turn a brilliant golden yellow. Couples walking hand-in-hand, whispering sweet nothings along the path, add even more romance to the atmosphere. Additionally, the stone wall’s architectural design offers a sense of old-world charm distinct from the typical urban landscape. Walking on the golden carpet of fallen ginkgo leaves and soaking in the autumn ambiance makes you feel as though you’ve momentarily escaped the hustle and bustle of the city—a truly pleasant experience.
