Located off the coast of Taitung, Green Island is known as a world-class snorkeling destination, attracting many domestic and international tourists and divers. Beyond diving, this small island also harbors numerous breathtaking wonders. In the central eastern part of Green Island, on the bay of Haishenping, there's a pathway and viewing pavilion known as the "Little Great Wall," which offers sweeping views of the surrounding majestic scenery. It's also a sacred spot for watching sunrises, sunsets, and the Milky Way under starry skies.

Haishenping refers to the bay nestled between the Little Great Wall and the Sleeping Beauty Rock. This area features well-developed columnar basalt joints, showcasing unique volcanic geology. Climbing up the Little Great Wall pathway offers expansive views. Looking south, you can see a long rock formation resembling a sleeping beauty, as well as an isolated rock that looks like a pug dog—this is one of Green Island’s most famous sights.
