Kadoya Café is a century-old local dessert and afternoon tea spot in Tainan, categorized as a Japanese-style Western confectionery café. With its nostalgic and retro storefront, counter, and high stools, it gives the illusion of stepping into a time machine and traveling to Japan.

3. Itomenka Flower Cafe t2 Curry Cafe WUDAO
Transformed from an old apartment building, Itomenka Flower Cafe t2 retains the appearance of a Japanese Western-style house and features a striking large lantern at the entrance. Dubbed by many netizens as one of the most beautiful cafes in Tainan, it is located on Xinmei Street, which has a century-long history. In recent years, with the rise of the artsy trend, distinctive cafes, homestays, and cultural and creative shops have also flourished here.

The interior is filled with nostalgic warm tones. The first floor is decorated in a very modern style, while the second floor features a tatami dining space, giving off a strong atmosphere of an old Japanese house.
