Another tropical depression also has a high chance of developing into Typhoon No. 19, DoksuriThis tropical depression, with a pressure of 1000 hPa, is located at 14.5°N, 122°E, in the waters east of the Philippines, moving westward at 20 km/h, and shows signs of developing into a mild typhoon. After forming into a typhoon, its projected path is toward Hong Kong.
There may be mutual interaction and compounding effects between Typhoon No. 19 and Typhoon Talim, which is worth noting. Due to the eastward retreat of the Pacific high pressure, Typhoon Talim’s path continues to shift northward and may not make landfall in Taiwan. However, its storm radius will still affect the northern regions of Taiwan, so special typhoon preparedness measures are needed.
