In this September, when summer gives way to autumn, limited-time beautiful flower seas also appear across Taiwan. Below are selected highlights from three key regions — northern, central, and eastern Taiwan. All bloom periods end by the end of September, so visitors should seize the last chance to capture these stunning sights.

1. Taoyuan Daxi – Chinese Chive Flower Sea
Every year around the Mid-Autumn Festival, Taoyuan’s Longtan and Daxi experience a “September snowfall.” The Chinese chive fields in Daxi have now bloomed into a snow-white expanse, resembling a majestic white flower sea like accumulated snow. It attracts many visitors to stop and admire or take photos. Gazing at the vast sea of chive blossoms like snow covering the ground, swaying in the wind with a northern charm, is truly enchanting.

Composed of delicate cosmos flowers, this vibrant and colorful sea of blooms, paired with the cool autumn breeze, offers the perfect rhythm for flower viewing. The tea factory area of the farm will be in full bloom on weekends, while other sections of the farm will be in full bloom by the end of the month.
