The development of Longtan is closely tied to "Lingtan." The local youth of Longtan have established the "Tough Neck Market," injecting new energy into the old street. The innovation base features 47 stalls, including bookstores, coffee shops, story houses, pottery, organic food, and various other cultural and creative shops. Lingtan Street not only provides young people with entrepreneurial space but also revitalizes what was once an old street slated for abandonment. It is believed that before long, this area could become the "Dongmen Gate" of Longtan.

In addition, various construction projects are underway in the Longtan area.
