A magnificent wooden sculpture that steals the spotlight — a new highlight at the Driftwood Art Festival

Installation art has become a must-visit photo spot for young people nowadays. Recently, a grand wooden sculpture resembling an ivory tower has appeared in the Taoyuan area, captivating visitors who can't help but stop and admire or take photos. The first Taoyuan International Driftwood Art Festival debuted at Taoyuan Fenghe Park. The Taoyuan City Government invited eight artist groups from both domestic and international backgrounds to participate, using driftwood to create artworks on-site, thus building a museum without walls for the urban area.

The Driftwood Art Festival focuses on improvisational creation and on-site exhibitions, actively utilizing driftwood that comes from forests and flows down rivers to engage in installation art that dialogues with nature. The exhibition not only explores and uncovers these natural resources but also showcases their artistic energy. Through the construction of this artistic platform, it opens up new opportunities for shaping local urban aesthetics and regional artistic characteristics.
