Nicknamed the “Bamboo Shoot,” the Christmas tree is the world’s only 360-degree 3D light projection Christmas tree. The projection mapping show behind it was created in collaboration with Singapore’s top projection team Hexogon Solution, which holds a world record. They used up to 48 high-spec projectors to expand the projection area to 8,794 square meters!
In 2017, New Taipei Christmasland integrated the station front square for the first time, expanding from the previous two major light zones—the Civic Square and the Ten Thousand Pings Park—into three: the “City Hall Magic Light Zone,” “Station Front Shining Light Zone,” and “Ten Thousand Pings Cartoon Light Zone.” The “Blue Time Tunnel,” a blue-lit walkway of sea lights, quickly became an Instagram-famous photo spot. It’s recommended to visit during off-peak hours to avoid the crowds.

New Taipei Christmasland, decorated with seas of lights everywhere, exudes a warm and festive holiday atmosphere.
Five free amusement rides are available: the “Royal Carousel,” “Snowy Flying Chair,” “Spinning Deer Forest,” “Christmas Express,” and “Light-Speed Fighter Jet.” There are also large circus-themed art installations that bring joyful and magical childhood memories.
