The CITY LINK Songshan No. 2 Store, built by Ruentex Groupofficially opened on November 24, and the much-anticipated TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Songshan Station Front Store also officially opened on the same day, bringing new energy to the tourism and consumer momentum of the Songshan area and Taipei.

Muneaki Masuda, founder of TSUTAYA and president of Culture Convenience Club Group (CCC), specially came to Taiwan. In addition to personally attending the bookstore’s opening, he also held a symposium where he shared his original vision since founding the business in 1983, as well as his ambition to help consumers discover future lifestyles.

TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Songshan Station Front Store covers an area of 84.4 pyeong. In addition to wooden furniture and books, the space is also filled with the rich aroma of coffee. This is the first roadside TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE in Taiwan. It continues the successful model of Japan’s Tsutaya Bookstore and draws on the experience of over 1,500 physical stores and data analysis from 60 million users within the CCC Group in Japan, perfectly replicated at the Songshan No. 2 Store. The opening also features exclusive merchandise originally developed for the Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore.
