GC’s Best Croissant in Paris Opens Third Store in Taiwan, Launches Limited-Time Pop-Up to Attract Customers

Last year, Gontran Cherrier (GC) officially launched operations in Taiwan. Not only was it selected by The Wall Street Journal as one of the best croissants in Paris, but its first store in Taiwan also became widely loved. This year, after opening a second branch at Taipei’s Breeze XinYi, on November 24, the third branch has finally settled at CITYLINK Songshan Station, drawing considerable attention.

Unlike typical bakeries, the GC Songshan store features a spacious area for customers to relax and enjoy their meals. Its location near a metro station also provides a convenient option for busy commuters.

To celebrate the opening of the third store, GC’s popular croissants have introduced three new flavors. The “Croq’Italiano” features GC’s signature plain croissant filled with fresh vegetables, fish, and meat, then pressed to achieve a unique crispy texture that can only be attained with a GC croissant—definitely something to look forward to. The “Black Sesame Croissant” is stuffed with rich black sesame filling, offering a deep flavor. Meanwhile, the whole wheat croissant, promoting a healthy and high-fiber concept, is the perfect choice for those focusing on wellness. Additionally, last winter’s best-selling and much-praised fruit croissants—including strawberry and apple croissants—are making a seasonal comeback.
