Aside from well-preserved relics such as the sugar mill, Japanese-style wooden houses, air-raid shelters, and red-brick water towers, Qiaotou Sugar Refinery also features the Community Office and Clubhouse—legacy structures from the Japanese colonial period that hold historical significance. These buildings mimic colonial architecture in Southeast Asia by the Japanese, who drew inspiration from Dutch designs. In addition to their elevated foundations, the verandas and continuous archways reflect European architectural styles, adding further charm.
