A 3D Art Wonderland Comparable to Jimmy Liao’s Fairy Tale Scenes – A New Hotspot in Yunlin

In recent years, the trend of 3D street art has taken off across Taiwan, with various themed installations popping up around the island. But a small village in Xiluo, Yunlin, offers something different from these painted walls. The Pitou Community in Xiluo has collaborated with local artists to create a "3D Picture Book Park," bringing scenes from storybooks to life within the park and making it a new attraction in Yunlin. Though it may not be as famous as Jimmy Liao Park, its whimsical designs and colorful murals are still highly captivating.

The 3D Picture Book Park's story is based on the book “A Long, Long Time Ago, There Was a Courtyard House,” created by local artist and children's book illustrator Mahha. Characters, whales, watermelons, and more from the book have been enlarged and installed throughout the park, making visitors feel as if they’ve stepped into a fairy tale. Located right next to the Xiluo Interchange on National Freeway No. 1, the park offers easy parking and attracts many visitors on weekends who come to take photos and explore.
