Along both sides of Rulin Road between Erlin and Xiangtianli in Erlin, Changhua, fields are covered with buckwheat flowers that look like snowflakes — incredibly picturesque and romantic. Vast buckwheat fields are quite rare in Taiwan, with only a few large-scale plantings currently found in Erlin, Changhua; Jiali, Tainan; and Shoufeng, Hualien.
