Hong Kong Ocean Park’s “Christmas All Over Town HO HO HO” runs from now until January 1, 2018. From December 23, 2017 to January 1, 2018, the park will open the waterfront plaza and Food Street free of charge every evening from 7 pm to 11 pm for ten consecutive days, allowing visitors to enjoy the festive atmosphere created by the Ocean Park x Pinkoi Christmas Market, Santa’s House, and Winter Garden. On ten designated dates—December 10, 17, 23 to 29, and 31, 2017—the Neptune’s Restaurant will also offer a Christmas dinner package with free admission after 7 pm, so visitors can celebrate the holidays with family and friends.

Ride the upgraded 【Mine Train】 to experience “virtual and real unity”
The upgraded 【Mine Train】 combines virtual reality technology with a thrilling roller coaster ride, delivering a sensory-shocking experience that merges visuals and physical sensations. Visitors simply need to wear a Gear VR headset when boarding the Mine Train. Through the built-in Samsung GALAXY smartphone screen, they’ll be instantly transported into a virtual Amazon rainforest. The Gear VR features a 101-degree field of view, allowing riders to experience meticulously crafted 360-degree footage from a first-person perspective, embarking on a heart-pounding journey that takes them “through the skies and under the seas.” While their bodies race along the roller coaster, they’ll feel speeds of up to 71 km/h and the force of centrifugal acceleration, all while exploring the biodiversity of the Amazon’s rushing waters and tropical rainforest environments in a whole new way. This offers insights into the habitats of precious flora and fauna, as well as the importance of ecological conservation.
