New Taipei City Government has established a duck-themed landscape art park in the riverside park beneath Zhongxing Bridge along the Tamsui River. Viewed from the nearby embankment, the massive duck installation comes into view, hence earning the nickname “Duck-Themed Park.” To celebrate the arrival of Christmas, the park management team specially designed a series of composite “Christmas Ducks” featuring three elements: ornamental grasses, windmills, and fabrics. Not only are they vibrant and colorful, but they have also quickly become a favorite among both kids and adults.

In the “Christmas Duck” theme, ducks are adorned with seasonal Santa hats and decorated with bells, colorful balls, gifts, hearts, and lollipops. A variety of elements—such as ornamental grasses, windmills, and fabrics—are used to create a lively and colorful scene, presenting a fresh take on the Christmas ambiance. Additionally, to evoke the image of ducks swimming in water, the area beneath the ducks is specially decorated with a sea of windmills forming wave-like patterns. When the breeze blows, it looks like ripples on the water—creating not only a vivid and dynamic scene but also an adorable one.

To fully appreciate the entire Duck-Themed Park scenery, it’s best to view it from above via the nearby embankment. This offers a magnificent panoramic view of the park and makes it a great Christmas spot for flower viewing, leisure strolls, and photo ops.
