World-class landscapes can be captured here too – Taiwan’s top five pyramid-shaped attractions

Whether it’s the world wonder of Egypt’s pyramids or the glass pyramid at the Louvre, their unique triangular designs attract travelers from around the globe. Now, you don’t have to go abroad to see them – you can find them in Taiwan. Below is a list of five pyramid-shaped buildings and landscapes scattered across Taiwan, some of which feature glass curtain walls that have sparked a wave of Instagram-worthy photo ops.

1. Taipei – #Taipei Expo Park
Located within the Taipei Expo Park’s Fine Arts Area, there are two miniature glass pyramids, one large and one small, standing in a row along the pathway. Made of glass curtains and aqua-blue steel frames, they emit a faint blue glow under sunlight. With airplanes flying overhead, the combination of these elements has made this spot a popular IG photo location.

2. New Taipei – #Zhulin Pearl Ridge Humanistic Kitchen
Located in Zhulin, New Taipei, the Pearl Ridge Humanistic Kitchen was once a forest theme park. After the park closed, only some ruins and the restaurant remained.

The Pearl Ridge Humanistic Kitchen offers expansive views and scenery. The restaurant serves set meals, à la carte dishes, and afternoon tea. You can also sit outdoors to enjoy the breeze and scenery, while the outdoor pyramid structure has become a new hot photo spot.

3. Tainan – #Jingliao Catholic Church
Designed in the 1960s by Pritzker Prize winner Gottfried Böhm, the Jingliao Catholic Church stands amidst the green fields of Jingliao, resembling a pyramid. Its silver exterior shines brilliantly, creating an intriguing contrast with the landscape.
