Following the opening of container markets in Taipei, Tainan, and other regions, Taichung has launched a brand-new “UNO Market,” situated next to the Taichung Big City Department Store. The market hosts over 30 vendors, including food stalls, creative handicrafts, and numerous installation artworks, aiming to become Taiwan’s largest container market.

Vendors at UNO Market include popular Taichung eateries such as Yuan Chuan Chuan, GFG Good Friends Garden, and Light Eel. Additionally, Cousins Maine Lobster, ranked as America’s No. 1 lobster roll restaurant, has opened its first overseas branch here—choosing UNO Market as its debut location. The lobster roll eatery recreates its original entrepreneurial concept through its container-food-truck design.
