However, the Tourism Bureau reminds the public that to avoid traffic congestion due to heavy traffic, it is advisable to consider nearby alternative attractions when planning your itinerary or to travel more via public transportation, while paying attention to related transport measures. Additionally, for those who prefer not to drive or find parking during the Lunar New Year holiday, they can make use of the 59 “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle” package tour routes launched by travel agencies under the guidance of the Tourism Bureau, as well as the 39 “Taiwan Good Bus” (scenic area shuttle bus) services operated by local county/city governments and national scenic area administrations, all of which will continue to operate as usual during the holiday.

The Tourism Bureau urges travelers to gather relevant transportation and travel information beforehand, plan their itineraries and accommodations well, and make greater use of public transportation. During the Lunar New Year period, all 105 tourist service centers across Taiwan and the 24-hour toll-free travel information hotline (available in Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean) 0800-011765 will remain open and provide uninterrupted services.
