The news has sparked a buying frenzy as soon as it was released. Jacky Cheung, the “God of Song,” brings his “Classic World Tour” to Taipei Arena for two consecutive weekends in April 2018. Each show spans over three hours and features more than 40 songs that bridge classics and contemporary hits. The stage is covered in LED displays creating a visually overwhelming experience, with a 360-degree ultra-stereo four-sided stage setup. It combines a full orchestra and band, along with 30 professional dancers and stunt performers, delivering world-class production quality.

Namie Amuro, who announced her retirement in 2018, is on her final Asian tour “namie amuro Final Tour 2018 ~Finally~ in Asia.” The tour is currently in full swing, covering all five major dome stadiums in Japan, with stops at Taipei Arena on May 19 and 20. This Taiwan stop features a single-stage design without any extended platforms, so those wanting an up-close view of Amuro’s farewell performance should be extra careful when choosing seats.
