2. Tamsui Egg Carnival
A giant capsule toy machine about four stories tall (12 meters), claimed to be the largest in Taiwan, made its debut at the “2017 Tamsui Egg Festival” in Tamsui’s Fairytale New Town. Additionally, a colorful container park was set up, featuring an egg-themed exhibition with dozens of fun activities including a super-large Easter egg, a world capsule toy exhibition, the Egg Evolution Museum, and cartoon egg celebrities — ensuring a great time for visitors of all ages.

3. Site of the Eighteen Banks Cultural Park
The Site of the Eighteen Banks Museum has unearthed evidence of prehistoric human habitation dating back 1,800 to 500 years ago, along with significant iron smelting ruins. It is an important archaeological museum and educational center that promotes knowledge of archaeology, ethnology, and Taiwan’s prehistory. With its natural landscape of mountains, sea, and river, plus its uniquely designed architecture, it has long been a popular dating spot for couples and a favorite location for newlyweds to take wedding photos. It's also a prime filming location for TV dramas.

4. Tamsui Old Street & Customs Wharf
Tamsui Old Street is already a well-known and popular attraction across Taiwan, drawing many foreign visitors as well. The bustling streets are lined with lively shops, including traditional pastry stores and grocery shops rich in old-time charm, as well as modern boutiques selling trendy clothing and toys.
