Top Must-Visit Flower Spots in Central Taiwan for Holiday Blooms

In addition to the beautiful cherry blossom season in February and March, Central Taiwan also boasts many stunning flower sea attractions worth visiting, including the Maoli Tongluo Bignonia Trail, Lollipop Flower Sea, and Hollyhock Flower Sea. Each spot is breathtakingly beautiful, perfect for holiday visits to take photos and create lasting, picturesque memories.

1. Maoli – Tongluo Bignonia Trail & Cherry Blossom Tunnel
Located in the environmental park of Maoli’s Tongluo Industrial Area, the park is famed for its bignonia flower sea trail. The flowers begin blooming in late January each year and continue until early March. Cascading clusters of trumpet-shaped blooms resemble a gorgeous orange waterfall stretching hundreds of meters, offering a truly stunning sight. In addition to the bignonia trail, the cherry blossom tunnel located above is also in full bloom, with pink cherry trees interwoven to create a whimsical Totoro tunnel-like spectacle.

2. Taichung – Most Beautiful Police Station for Nighttime Cherry Blossoms
The Tai’an Cherry Blossom Season in Houli District has become a highlight for cherry blossom viewing in Taichung, attracting thousands of visitors every year. Along a 200-meter stretch of Anmei Road in front of the Houli Tai’an Police Station, nearly a hundred cherry trees are planted densely, featuring various species such as double-flowered cherry and Yoshino cherry. The nighttime cherry blossoms at the police station are especially popular, offering a unique and magical view.

3. Taichung – Lollipop Flower Sea Garden
Originally part of the Houli Environmental Park, the Lollipop Flower Sea Garden is Taichung’s first perennial garden. It combines a geometric garden design with the playful imagery of rolling lollipops, featuring colorful, perennial flowers such as verbena and lantana in white, pink, and magenta hues that create a gradient effect. The vibrant colors are highly eye-catching, and when viewed from afar, the flowers resemble giant lollipops, leaving visitors amazed.
