Sold Out in One Hour — Delicious Return of Lady M’s New Matcha Series

After the strawberry season ended, Lady M is introducing a new line of matcha products. Anticipating Taiwanese gourmets’ passion for matcha, aside from the store’s bestseller — the matcha mille crêpes cake — on March 5th, they’ll roll out new matcha desserts. These include Taiwan’s first-ever “Matcha Chocolate Checkerboard Cake” and “Matcha Éclair,” as well as the popular returning item “Matcha Mousse Cake,” which once sold out within an hour.

The newly launched “Matcha Chocolate Checkerboard Cake” and “Matcha Éclair” are available in Taiwan for the first time. In addition to their rich matcha flavor, the checkerboard cake combines a hint of sweet chocolate, featuring a neatly layered checkerboard design when sliced for vibrant photo appeal; the éclair has a crispy exterior with a soft inside and is filled with custard cream. Both items are exclusive to the flagship store.

The “Matcha Mousse Cake” makes its return, having previously set a record by selling out within one hour of the store’s opening last year. It uses Japanese matcha blended into a proprietary ratio of matcha cream, paired with a melt-in-your-mouth matcha mousse for a smooth and richly aromatic texture, and is available only at the flagship store.

In addition, Lady M is also releasing the “Banana Chocolate Mille Crêpes Cake” and “Gluten-Free Chocolate Cake.” The banana chocolate flavor combines locally grown fully ripe bananas with cocoa aroma; the gluten-free chocolate cake caters to those with gluten allergies or sensitivities by using no wheat flour at all — just cocoa powder, whipped cream, and egg whites to create a fluffy texture.
