Not only Marvel fans have theme parks to experience and enjoy—DC fans will soon have their own themed park as well. The renowned Warner Bros. theme park is set to create the world’s first Warner Bros.-branded indoor theme park in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates—“Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi.” The park draws inspiration from DC and Warner Bros. stories and characters.

The park features six themed zones, two of which are “Metropolis” and “Cartoon Junction.” Metropolis is inspired by the DC universe of superheroes and supervillains, and includes 29 rides, interactive family attractions, and unique live entertainment performances.

Metropolis is characterized by towering skyscrapers and a modern style, allowing visitors to step into Batman’s Gotham City to explore the footsteps of heroes and enjoy a variety of fun-filled rides. Cartoon Junction is vibrant and energetic, bringing together numerous Warner Bros. animated stories and characters, offering an imaginative world of endless possibilities.

Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is located on Yas Island and is scheduled to open in the summer of 2018
The park is jointly developed by Abu Dhabi’s tourism development company Miral, Warner Bros., and DC Entertainment. It is located on Yas Island and is set to open in the summer of 2018. The area also includes Ferrari World and Yas Waterworld. Miral is actively integrating the park with other Yas Island theme parks to create one of the world’s top ten family tourist destinations.
