The hit Korean drama Goblin’s featured bb.q CHICKEN store has officially entered Taiwan！Taiwan’s renowned convenience store chain FamilyMart has announced a collaboration with South Korea’s largest fried chicken brand, bb.q CHICKEN, introducing a new in-store fresh preparation counter. Not only are all ingredients directly imported from Korea, but there’s also a dedicated fryer service—so you can enjoy freshly made fried chicken without going far. It’s now available right at your local convenience store.

The first of these new hybrid in-store services, “FamilyMart Ban-Nong Store,” will begin trial operations on March 13 next to Exit 1 of Fuzhong Metro Station, with its official opening on March 14. This collaboration with Korea’s famous fried chicken brand “bb.q CHICKEN” features a made-to-order approach with dedicated frying, and imports Korea’s secret marinade powder, signature sauces, and exclusive frying oil to Taiwan—guaranteeing an authentic taste of classic Korean fried chicken.

Fried chicken is available daily from 11:00 to 22:00, with a total of eight special menu items. The original flavors include Golden Olive Fried Chicken and Chicken Fillet, while seasoned options come in four varieties: Secret Recipe, Spicy, Honey Garlic, and Cheese. Each item comes with two sides—fries or Korean-style rice cakes—priced between NT$99 and NT$229. For an extra NT$20, you can add pickled radish to cut through the richness, making it perfect for 1–2 people.
This collaboration between “bb.q CHICKEN” and FamilyMart introduces eight menu items, with different styles of fried chicken paired with fries or Korean rice cakes that are sure to whet your appetite.
All meals are freshly fried by dedicated staff, ideal for 1–2 people.
In addition to the newly opened FamilyMart Ban-Nong Store, another hybrid fried chicken in-store shop, “FamilyMart Xindian Qingmin Store,” will open on March 16 near Dapinglin Metro Station. More hybrid fried chicken shops are expected to follow in the future, much to the delight of fried chicken lovers. Also, to complement Korea’s unique “chicken and beer” culture, customers who purchase fried chicken meals will receive a 10% discount on selected alcoholic beverages, making it a hot topic.
