Spring is the season when flowers bloom in full splendor. Besides cherry blossoms, the purple wisteria flowers, cascading like silky waterfalls, are also one of the stars of the floral season. There are many wisteria spots across Taiwan, including the Tamsui Wisteria Café, Alishan, Taoyuan, and more, where you can see vast seas of wisteria climbing along corridors, forming dreamy purple tunnels.
 
1. Taipei – Flower Testing Center
The main area of the Flower Testing Center covers approximately 4 hectares. The center features themed sections such as camellia gardens, herb gardens, fragrant flower zones, native azalea areas, maple tree sections, coniferous tree zones, Yoshino cherry blossom areas, fern and crabapple greenhouses, and succulent plant greenhouses. Every spring, the center bursts into a riot of blooms, with the wisteria sea being particularly stunning and romantic.

2. Taipei – Taipei Flower Village
Located on Yanping North Road in Taipei’s Shilin District, Taipei Flower Village was once a dusty gravel site. After careful planning, it transformed from an abandoned quarry into a vibrant space filled with flowers and trees, nurtured with love and dedication. It now boasts facilities such as an orchid boutique, garden plant market, supply center, café, and restaurant—creating a fragrant and lush Taipei Flower Village.

3. New Taipei – Tamsui Wisteria Café Garden
The Wisteria Café Garden in Tamsui, New Taipei City, is hailed as the most beautiful wisteria garden in Taiwan. Its biggest highlight is the wisteria-covered corridor, where vast seas of purple wisteria bloom along the pathway, forming a breathtaking purple tunnel. The purple petals gently fall like rain, creating a romantic, fairytale-like atmosphere.
