The renowned coffee brand Starbucks has once again created a distinctive new store concept. The latest Tamsui Cloud Gate Store is located within the Cloud Gate Theater, surrounded by greenery and vast lawns. With its glass house exterior design, it captures everyone’s attention and exudes a high level of artistic vibe. The recent trial operation event kicked off and immediately attracted many fans to visit, sparking a heated response online.

As Starbucks celebrates its 20th anniversary in Taiwan, it has specially built the first-ever store in the country situated within a performing arts and cultural space, right next to the Tamsui Cloud Gate Theater. Blending in with the artistic coexistence of the Cloud Gate Theater and nature, the store offers views of Guanyin Mountain and the mouth of the Tamsui River, allowing visitors to enjoy a serene and tranquil atmosphere, relax with coffee, and soak in the cultural ambiance.

The Tamsui Cloud Gate Store uses double-layer transparent glass materials, featuring an overall unique steel structure with a sloping glass roof.The ceiling andthe three surrounding floor-to-ceiling windows allcreate a mirror-like reflection effect,allowing sunlight to stream in from above and the sides, resulting in well-lit natural illumination. The single-story standalone building accommodates 33 indoor seats and 20 outdoor seats.

The store’s unique interior style exudes a strong artistic vibe, paired with the aroma of coffee, offering a very relaxing experience. Outside, the green surroundings create the feeling of sipping coffee in the woods, bringing a sense of romance and enchantment.
