The name “Yong Xin Feng Cha” is a homophone for the Taiwanese phrase meaning “serving tea with heart.” With the owner’s passion for Taiwanese cuisine, the menu reinterprets traditional dishes with modern twists, blending old and new. A deep love for Taiwanese tea also inspired the café to promote high-quality local teas in a fresh, fashionable way, offering a new sensory experience and creating a premium fusion of Taiwanese tea and cuisine.

The Taipei branch at Breeze Xinyi 3F continues the brand’s signature fusion of Western elegance and nostalgic Taiwanese charm. The flagship retro wooden tea cabinet and counter with artistic cuts, paired with a wall of golden tea tins, add a special touch. Thoughtful interior design, from tables and chairs to sipping Taiwanese tea from wine glasses and enjoying authentic dishes with Western-style plating, all contribute to a unique retro-modern atmosphere.

For its Taipei expansion, Yong Xin Feng Cha has specially developed exclusive new dishes, including “Crispy Soy Milk Chicken Rice” and “Assorted Spicy Seafood Rice.” The former features chicken marinated in sweet fermented tofu, coated and deep-fried to create juicy, aromatic chicken cutlets; the latter stir-fries Penghu squid and grass shrimp with a Taiwanese spicy sauce and tops it with kumquat juice for a uniquely tangy flavor. The new branch promises rich textures, delicious meals, and a distinctive Taiwanese tea experience, and is expected to quickly become a popular social media hotspot.
