This year’s 10th anniversary “Sea Summer Festival” begins on July 9 and spans two consecutive weekends, packed with diverse activities to energize the Dongshi Fishing Port in Chiayi. With the theme “Summer Fun in Chiayi,” the festival includes a variety of performances, picnic events on the grass, sports activities, escape rooms, and the trending puzzle game “Chiayi Tyrannosaurus Puzzle Adventure,” allowing both kids and adults to enjoy a fun-filled weekend in Chiayi during the summer break.

Aimed at providing family-friendly entertainment, the Sea Summer Festival schedules various performances, with evening galas starting at 7 PM throughout the event. These galas will feature performances by well-known singers, musical groups, DJs, folk performance troupes, and children’s theater groups, offering audiences captivating music and cultural shows. The opening and closing galas will also include spectacular fireworks displays, aiming to deliver an unforgettable summer experience for families and all attendees.

In addition to performances, the event site also offers a variety of activities for public participation, including “Human Foosball,” “Summer Giant Volleyball,” escape rooms, and family-friendly picnic events on the grass. Moreover, the adorable Chiayi “Tyrannosaurus” will make surprise appearances, interacting with visitors through fun games.

From 2 PM during the event period until the end of the evening galas, free shuttle buses are available from Dongshi Junior High School to Dongshi Fishing Port for public convenience. Alternatively, taking the “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle – Salt Town Coastal Line” bus is another parking solution and a great way to explore popular attractions along the Chiayi-Nan Coastal area.
