Taiwan, surrounded by the sea on all sides, has a climate profoundly influenced by the ocean, resulting in distinct and charming seasonal features that nurture a diverse array of beautiful flowers. Here’s a list of five flower farms around Taiwan, where different blooms take center stage in each season—offering a chance to admire floral beauty and capture memorable photos at any time.

1. Taoyuan – Daxi Flower Farm
Daxi Flower Farm is the largest floral farm in northern Taiwan, spanning 17 hectares with over 4 million flowers planted. The farm combines expansive scenic flower fields, European-style restaurants, flower gardens, herb gardens, and an ecological pasture, exuding a romantic ambiance. It has also served as a filming location for numerous idol dramas and variety shows.

2. Taoyuan – Xiangyang Farm
In addition to vast sunflower fields, Xiangyang Farm sees vibrant snapdragons and purple lavender bloom passionately from January to April every year, creating a colorful floral tapestry alongside freshly blooming sunflowers—an ideal spot for a holiday getaway.

Covering 18,000 pyeong, this is the largest sunflower-themed farm in northern Taiwan. Sunflower season runs from May to October, and entry to the farm is free. Beyond the expansive seasonal flower fields, the farm also offers a brick oven area, outdoor educational activities, DIY experiences, souvenirs, and a themed restaurant.
