The Taiwanese government, in promoting Meet Colors Taiwan, has not only once again invited Masami Nagasawa to serve as the tourism ambassador to Japan, but also collaborated with Kintetsu Railway to launch the Meet Colors painted train, decorating the Rapit limited express train connecting Kansai Airport and Osaka with colorful illustrations. The train will be in service from now until September.

In recent years, the Taiwanese government has been actively promoting tourism in Japan. To strengthen promotional efforts in the Kansai region, it not only launched a limited “Travel Taiwan ↔ Osaka Pass,” but also, in line with this year’s theme, partnered with Kintetsu Railway to introduce the Meet Colors Taiwan painted train, featuring iconic Taiwanese sights such as Daxi Old Street, Lalashan, and the Taoyuan Flower Festival on the exterior of the Rapit limited express train.

Four companies—Taoyuan Airport, Taoyuan Metro, Kansai Airport, and Kintetsu Railway—launched a limited “Travel ”Taiwan↔ Osaka” Pass in February. From now until August 31, passengers who purchase the pass can exchange it for a one-way ticket on the Taoyuan Airport MRT between Taoyuan Airport and Taipei Main Station, as well as a one-way business class ticket on the Kintetsu Railway Rapit limited express between Kansai Airport and Osaka. Tickets can be redeemed until December 31.
