Layered Seafood Tower Now Available in Taipei Along with Budae Jjigae and Chuncheon Fried Chicken

The seafood tower that once caused a stir in Taichung is now available in Taipei too. Han Lao Da Korean BBQ Zheqiang combines the hottest Korean BBQ with the trendy seafood tower, satisfying cravings for both meat and seafood in one go. In addition, traditional Korean dishes such as Korean fried chicken, budae jjigae (Korean army stew), and Chuncheon fried chicken are also on the menu.

For the Korean BBQ section, meat options include Australian M9+ Black Angus beef, American Choice boneless short ribs, Danish Grade A pork belly, and Taiwanese black-haired live pork belly. The restaurant also offers a variety of combo platters and set meals. Additionally, the fresh greens essential for Korean BBQ are sourced daily from tech farms and delivered fresh.

As for the layered seafood tower, ingredients such as Boston lobster, Japanese king crab, Argentine red shrimp, and Busan baby octopus are available. The steaming pot can accommodate ingredients for about 2–4 people. Han Lao Da explains that compared to boiling, stir-frying, pan-frying, or deep-frying, “steaming” preserves more nutrients and fully retains the essence of the ingredients. Moreover, as the seafood is steamed, its umami drips down to the congee at the bottom layer, resulting in exceptionally flavorful congee.

Aside from Korean BBQ and the seafood tower, the restaurant also serves traditional Korean dishes such as Korean fried chicken, budae jjigae, Chuncheon fried chicken, seafood pancakes, spicy kimchi tofu pot, and stone pot bibimbap. Han Lao Da hopes that people in Taiwan can enjoy the most authentic Korean flavors.
