In the Hakka villages of Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli, the months of April and May turn white as snow, creating some of the most beautiful scenery in Taiwan. Here are five tung blossom-viewing restaurants where you can enjoy a meal in a romantic and picturesque setting while feeling the spring vibe of dancing blossoms.

1. Hsinchu – Xie Xin Tea House
Xie Xin Tea House is located in the best viewing area of Emei in Hsinchu. From here, you can enjoy mountain views and authentic Hakka cuisine, and in autumn, you can even savor plump hairy crabs. During the tung blossom season, the outdoor "snowfall" of petals creates a romantic atmosphere, and you can also explore nearby hiking trails to enjoy flowers and nature.

2. Miaoli – Tung Blossom House
Surrounded by mountains, Tung Blossom House in Miaoli features a wooden building with a distinct exotic charm. It offers restaurant dining and homestay options. When the tung blossom season arrives, the restaurant is blanketed in white petals, transforming into a romantic sea of flowers.

3. Miaoli – Shangtian Coffee Manor
Shangtian Coffee Manor is situated in a low mountainous and hilly area, with an altitude ranging between 83 and 465 meters. The estate features over 2,000 ping of camphor tree forests, blending nature with gourmet food, culture, and green architectural art. It preserves native camphor and tung tree forests, and has a dedicated coffee tree plantation area. Here, you can admire tung blossoms and camphor woods while savoring premium coffee.
