Breathtaking 360-degree views of flower seas    Japan’s Romantic Azalea Park

A nature park centered around Komuroyama Mountain, which stands at an elevation of 321 meters, hosts an azalea season every year from late April to early May. Within its vast 35,000-square-meter grounds, approximately 100,000 azalea plants of about 40 varieties create a sea of flowers, making the park look as if it’s covered with a vibrant red floral carpet—truly romantic and enchanting.

The park features hiking trails surrounded by flower seas, such as the Komuroyama Ropeway Observation Deck, where you can enjoy the vastness and serenity of the ocean and mountains. The location also offers 360-degree panoramic views of these spectacular landscapes.

In addition to flower viewing, the park hosts events such as open-air tea parties and family-friendly activities during the blooming season. Nighttime illuminations and other festive events are also organized in conjunction with the azalea season.
