Breathtaking views of endless wheat fields & the "Goblin" scene at the Green Wheat Field Festival

Step into the world of "Goblin" and immerse yourself in the healing beauty of endless wheat fields. Located at Haewon Farm in the vast barley fields of Gochang, this expansive farm spans an impressive 300,000 pyeong, making it a rare large-scale farm in Korea. In spring you can see Korea’s largest green wheat field, while in autumn the beautiful buckwheat flower sea comes into bloom.

Held annually from late April to early May in Gochang, known as the home of barley, the Gochang Green Wheat Field Festival features breathtaking landscapes of continuous green wheat fields. Not only is the scenery healing, but it also captures the essence of spring.

After transforming into a sightseeing farm, it gained popularity and became a favorite destination for tourists and photographers. It has also attracted attention for being the filming location of many TV dramas, movies, and commercials. Its fame soared especially after it was featured in the popular drama "Goblin."

Haewon Farm, named after its main crops—barley and buckwheat—holds various festivals and events during the peak seasons of these crops, such as the Green Wheat Field Festival and the Buckwheat Flower Festival. To serve visitors, the farm operates a restaurant that serves meals made with barley and buckwheat. There are also shops selling tea, drinks, snacks, as well as areas for agricultural product sales and accommodation facilities among other amenities.

This year’s festival has prepared two themed routes based on the "Goblin" story and movie/TV drama filming locations. A variety of engaging activities are offered, including wheat field walks, barley food preparation, horse-drawn carriage rides through the green wheat paths, traditional game experiences, traditional costume try-ons, and barley coffee tastings.
