Starting from April to May each year, lowland golden needle flowers begin to bloom, and by summer, alpine golden needle flowers take over the show. Located in Taichung, the Muxinquan Farm kicks off its golden needle flower season in May, where lush green hillsides are covered in bright yellow blooms, as if draped in a yellow blanket — a breathtaking sight.

The farm spans over 8 hectares of vast land. Thanks to its high elevation, visitors can enjoy views of Wine Barrel Mountain and the Dajia River, and at night, gaze at the starry sky while overlooking the neon-lit cityscape of Taichung.

Golden needle flowers at Muxinquan Farm
In addition to golden needle flowers, the farm also grows a variety of blossoms across its hillsides, including cherry blossoms, azaleas, wild lilies, lavender, maple trees, and tung flowers. Different floral landscapes can be enjoyed in all four seasons. Currently, the golden needle flowers are in spectacular full bloom, with the blooming period lasting until August. Additionally, hydrangeas and "love flowers" can also be admired.
