Starting from the daytime of the 28th, the strong continental cold front will weaken slightly, but temperatures in the early mornings will remain low across the island. The western half of Taiwan will see large day-night temperature variations, while the eastern and northern regions will have localized brief showers. The weather on Wednesday the 29th will remain similar to that of Tuesday.
On the 30th and 31st, most areas will be mostly cloudy to sunny, with only scattered brief showers in the eastern and southeastern regions.
On February 1st, the last working day before Lunar New Year, the northeast monsoon will strengthen, bringing cooler weather to the northern and northeastern regions. Localized brief showers are expected in the northern and eastern parts of Taiwan, while other regions will have mostly cloudy to sunny conditions. Temperatures in the north and central parts will be around 15–20°C, while the south and east will see greater fluctuations, with temperatures ranging from about 16–23°C.
