Having just launched in Hong Kong, Omotesando Koffee has naturally become one of the hottest cafés among locals. Featuring a fresh and elegant color scheme of concrete tones and wood, it is located in Hong Kong’s newest commercial district “Lee Tung Avenue.” Visitors during the summer holiday period can expect to wait around 10 to 20 minutes. The interior is mainly divided into two levels: the lower level focuses on takeaway coffee, while the upper level offers sit-in service.

Just like the original store in Tokyo, Omotesando Koffee uses coffee beans from Ogawa Coffee and has Japanese baristas serving on-site. The café offers both pour-over and espresso-based coffees. Customers can ask the staff about the flavor profiles of single-origin coffees when ordering. The reporter tried the café latte, which had a smooth texture, rich flavor, and a very delicate latte art — definitely worth a try.

In addition to coffee, the café also serves desserts. The staff recommends the cube-shaped madeleine. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, it carries a strong aroma of milk and chocolate, which is quite impressive. It pairs wonderfully with the slightly bold coffee.
