From May 28 to June 3, the weather will be rainy in areas north of Taoyuan and in the eastern part of Taiwan. A frontal system will arrive on Tuesday, and the probability of afternoon thunderstorms is quite high. The weather will remain rainy until the weekend, so those planning trips should pay special attention to weather changes.
In the central region, the weather will turn from sunny to thunderstorms in the afternoon on Sunday; from Monday to Wednesday in the south, the weather will be mostly cloudy with brief rain. From Wednesday evening to Friday, the weather will become more stable. On Sunday, there will be brief afternoon thunderstorms in the Yunlin–Chiayi area and Pingtung.
Temperatures across Taiwan will range between 25 and 31 degrees Celsius, with the southern regions seeing highs around 33 degrees. Areas with basin topography such as Taipei and Taichung may experience daytime highs around 34 degrees. Take extra care to protect against sun exposure and heatstroke, stay hydrated frequently, and be cautious when transitioning between environments with significant temperature differences.
