The pedestrian walkways and bike paths along Xingzhong Road in South District, Taichung, from Guoguang Road to Qizhong Road, are lined with golden rain trees. When in full bloom, they form a golden tunnel — perfect for a leisurely stroll on a summer afternoon and to enjoy the refreshing ambiance.

Aside from Xingda Road, other popular golden rain tree viewing spots in Taichung include the areas along the Hanxi East-West Roads, the Art Museum parking lot, Taipei City Hall Square, and Asia University.
