As stunning as hydrangeas—hidden rose-covered walls in full bloom

Located near the Huan Shan Tribe, there is a vibrant rose wall in full bloom, with clusters of blossoms that look from afar as magnificent and beautiful as hydrangeas. Travelers can't help but stop to admire and take photos, capturing this rare floral spectacle.

This rose wall is located around km 60 on Provincial Highway 7A. The wall, formed by a profusion of colorful flower clusters, is highly visible along the road. The blooming period lasts until early June, so visitors looking to take photos and enjoy the flowers should plan their trip accordingly.

Roses have long been cherished as elegant and fragrant flowers. They emit a strong floral scent, and their petals can be used to extract aromatic oils, making them quite valuable. There are many varieties of roses, with colors ranging from milky white, light yellow, golden yellow, pink, crimson, to deep purple. Typically, the rose blooming season runs from May to September each year, though this can vary depending on the location.

In addition to viewing flowers at the Huan Shan Tribe, you can also explore this rare mountain valley settlement. The area surrounding the tribe is surrounded by mountains over 3,000 meters high, and within the community lies the Huan Shan Atayal Cultural Center, which helps preserve the fading heritage of the Atayal culture.

Additionally, you can visit the nearby Fushoushan Farm, where early summer brings a riot of blooming lupines and poppies, as well as white alpine calla lilies. It’s a great opportunity to plan a flower-viewing trip through the central mountainous region.
