A new seaside hidden gem on the skywalk — Donggang’s Sky Garden is the perfect spot to unwind

Donggang has recently gained a new seaside hidden gem called “Xinglong Garden.” Located at an altitude of 200 meters in Changbin Township, it offers a stunning 180-degree panoramic view where you can take in the beauty of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding coastal areas. The park also plants seasonal flower seas, hence it's also known as the Changbin Sky Garden.

In addition to its ocean and flower sea views, the park also features facilities such as an observation deck, a chill-out pavilion, and a skywalk. It also offers afternoon tea services. Situated in the middle section of the Coastal Mountain Range, visitors can gaze at the magnificent Pacific from the low-altitude mountain area, making it a new destination in Donggang for relaxation and ocean appreciation.

Covering an area of about 2 hectares, the site’s high elevation and unobstructed surroundings have, after three years of landscaping and construction by the owner, been transformed into a sky garden with ocean views. The owner also cultivates suitable flower seas in the garden, such as golden needle flowers, cosmos, and sunflowers in the summer.

Park features include a circular observation platform amid the flower seas, an approximately 20-meter-long skywalk, and a chill-out pavilion where visitors can relax and enjoy the sea view. There is also a hidden gem in the park called the “Dragon’s Mouth,” from which you can overlook the entire Zhangyuan Village and Taiwan’s Provincial Highway 11 coastline. On clear days, you can even see Sanxiantai and Green Island.
