A 250-meter-long pumpkin tunnel located in the Longfeng Community of Zaobridge Township, Miaoli, turns a brilliant golden yellow every summer, complemented by vines and green leaves. The enchanting, dreamlike scenery rivals that of flower fields, making you feel as if you’ve stepped into a fairy tale, becoming a limited-time, eye-catching photo spot during the summer.

The Zaobridge Pumpkin Festival has entered its 11th year, and this year’s event is being held at Longfeng Lake for the first time. In addition to the 250-meter pumpkin tunnel, which is the main highlight, the Miaoli County Government has also built a 2.6-kilometer lakeside walking trail. Visitors can stroll through the fairy-tale-like pumpkin tunnel and admire the unique sight of fresh pumpkins hanging from the vines, while also enjoying the beautiful sunset by the lake.

This year’s Pumpkin Festival will be held on June 9–10, 2018, at Longfeng Lake. In addition to taking dreamy photos in the pumpkin tunnel, the event will feature performances by various street artists and food stalls offering a variety of pumpkin delicacies and local agricultural products. While enjoying the beautiful scenery, visitors can also indulge in sweet pumpkin treats and a delightful performance feast.
