From today until the morning of tomorrow, southern cloud systems are moving northward. Showers are expected in southeastern Taiwan and the Hengchun Peninsula, with a chance of localized heavy rain. Localized brief showers are also possible in eastern, northeastern Taiwan, Kinmen, Matsu, and mountainous areas in the south. Other regions and Penghu will be mostly cloudy to sunny, with localized brief thunderstorms in the western half of the island in the afternoon.

The Central Weather Bureau has issued high temperature alerts: an orange alert for northern counties and cities, specifically Taoyuan City; and a yellow alert for New Taipei City and Taipei City in the north, as well as Kaohsiung City and Pingtung County in the south. The weather will be hot and high in temperature. Around noon on the 14th, some areas in the north and south may reach orange or yellow high-temperature alert levels, with a chance of continuous temperatures as high as 36°C. Avoid unnecessary outdoor activities, labor, and sports. Take precautions against sun exposure, drink plenty of water, and beware of heat-related injuries.
