The Hsinchu dessert shop "RAINmaker Sweets Sweet Rain" specially imports handmade hanboks from Korea, with quality on par with local hanbok rental shops in Korea. The hanbok experience is also very professional, offering services such as hairstyling, exquisite hair accessories, and seasonal hanboks in a variety of styles.
The first floor of Sweet Rain is the dessert shop, and the second floor is the fashion store "Rainmaker." Those who want to try the hanbok experience must first go to the fashion store on the second floor to change clothes, then head to the dessert shop on the first floor to enjoy their sweets.
After changing into the hanbok, you can start by taking photos in the themed photo area set up by the shop, or enjoy desserts and coffee at the dessert shop to fully experience eating sweets in a hanbok. Additionally, Yingxi Gate, which is just a 5-minute walk from the shop, is a must-visit photo spot. Wearing a hanbok in front of the ancient city gate feels like traveling back to the Joseon Dynasty—it’s really fun.
The shop is close to attractions such as Hsinchu Railway Station, the moat, and Yingxi Gate, all of which are great for taking artistic hanbok photos.
