Asia's first FRIDAYS 2.0 new-concept store — six immersive settings that are as delicious as they are photogenic

American restaurant chain TGI FRIDAYS has launched a brand revitalization plan, and Taiwan’s FRIDAYS will also be the first in Asia to open the “FRIDAYS 2.0 New-Concept Store” at TaiMall on July 24, emphasizing six distinct dining zones and introducing nine new dishes that are as visually appealing as they are flavorful. Additional promotions include “Spend $1,000 and Get a Free Ribs” and an “Opening Day Gift.”

The new TaiMall location emphasizes a “multi-theme” concept, featuring six unique dining zones — whether it’s a lounge-like relaxation space reminiscent of a hotel lobby, an upscale dining area perfect for business meals or casual drinks, a themed zone adorned with bold American-style picture-frame walls, a bar counter where guests can chat up close with bartenders, or an open kitchen where diners can watch their meals being prepared.

Each zone features different ceilings, lighting, tables, chairs, and flooring, allowing guests to choose the atmosphere that best suits their mood or dining companions. In addition, the store offers a glass-walled dining area surrounded by large floor-to-ceiling windows, with bright natural light that’s a feast for the eyes — every corner is Instagram-worthy with its rich design elements.

Alongside the opening of the new concept store, from July 24 to September 17, all 13 TGI FRIDAYS locations across Taiwanwill launchlimited-time chef-inspired dishes, including the signature appetizer “Double Cheese Spicy Chicken Wings with Elote Tortilla,” which features golden, crispy garlic-herb chicken wings drizzled with a double cheese white sauce and a special spicy tomato sauce, served with Mexican tortillas that are perfect for rolling up and dipping.

“Light Beer Basil Mussels” uses a malty Pilsner beer as the base, enhanced with a signature mustard broth, and is carefully simmered with mussels and served with garlic bread — a dip into the bottom sauce is guaranteed to whet your appetite.
