Convection clouds are developing strongly in the afternoon, bringing a high chance of short-duration heavy rain. There is a likelihood of localized heavy rain or downpours in Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, and Pingtung County, as well as localized heavy rain in central regions, northern mountainous areas, and Hualien-Taitung mountainous areas. Watch out for lightning strikes, strong gusts, and sudden rises in river water levels. Low-lying areas should be cautious of flooding.
